SMALL BUSINESS WEBSITE DESIGN IRELAND
A website that makes your business look as good as it really is.
Your website should help people understand what you offer, feel confident about your business and know what to do next. Positioned creates Framer websites and landing pages for Irish small businesses, bringing clear messaging and thoughtful design together.
Does your website make people work too hard?
You explain your services better in conversation than your homepage does. Visitors need to hunt for contact details. The mobile version feels cramped, old offers are still visible or important information lives only on social media. These are practical reasons to review a site, even if its design isn’t obviously dated.
Start with what people need to understand and do. A clearer message or simpler page structure may be more useful than adding features. We discuss the problem before deciding whether you need a focused improvement, a landing page or a fuller website.
Framer websites built around a clear purpose
We can shape a Framer project around a business introduction, service information, an event or campaign, and a clear route to enquiry. The brief starts with the content and visitor journey, then brings the pages into a consistent visual design that reflects your brand.
The number of pages, copywriting, imagery and any additional requirements are agreed for your project. If you need booking, payments, memberships or another specialist function, mention it at the start so feasibility and scope can be checked. Those features are not automatically included.
One focused page, or room for the whole business?
A landing page suits a specific offer, launch or event with one main next step. It brings the essentials together without asking visitors to explore a large site. It can also be a sensible starting point when your business needs a clear online presence before it needs lots of pages.
A fuller website suits a business with distinct services, different visitor needs or more information to organise. Separate pages can give each offer a clearer explanation, supported by your story, relevant work and contact details. More pages are only useful when each has a job.
Designed for the phone in your customer’s hand
Responsive design is more than shrinking the desktop layout. Headings need to stay readable, sections should flow naturally and buttons need enough space to tap. We adapt the layout for desktop, tablet and phone, checking navigation, content order and the enquiry route at each size.
Clear words. Useful structure. An obvious next step.
Visitors should quickly understand what you do, who it’s for and why it matters. We organise the message around their questions, with relevant evidence and calls to action that match the purpose of the page. Website copywriting can be included where agreed, rather than leaving unclear content for the design to solve.
Foundational SEO can cover descriptive page titles, meta descriptions, logical headings, relevant internal links and image alt text. These help give the site a clear structure; they are not a promise of search rankings or a substitute for an ongoing SEO programme. The exact work is confirmed in the brief.
A clear route from brief to launch
01 / Agree the purpose and scope
We discuss your business, visitors and the action the site should support. We agree the pages, content responsibilities and requirements before design begins. Share your existing site, brand assets and anything visitors regularly ask you.
02 / Shape the content and build in Framer
We organise the page structure and agreed messaging, develop the design and build the responsive layouts. Your feedback helps refine the work. Content and image needs are resolved against the brief, rather than filled with invented claims or placeholders.
03 / Review, prepare and launch
We review the agreed pages across screen sizes and check links, enquiry routes and page information. Domain connection, publishing arrangements and how future changes will be handled are confirmed for the project before launch.
A real example: Homegrown
Homegrown: The Mountmellick Playwrights Festival needed a clearer digital presence for its 2027 launch. Information had been spread across channels, and there was no dedicated festival website or domain. Positioned’s work included a one-page Framer website and custom domain setup at mmplays.ie, alongside the festival’s naming, identity and launch content.
The website formed part of a clearer journey from discovering the festival to finding submission information, with future ticket sales considered in the planning. This is a specific project example, not a claim that ticketing or other integrations are included in every website build.
Before we begin your website
Do I need to provide all the content?
You’ll need to share accurate business information, offers and any existing brand assets. Website copywriting support can be agreed as part of the project. We also confirm who supplies images and any permissions needed, so content responsibilities are clear before the build.
Can I use a domain I already own?
An existing domain can generally be connected to a Framer site, subject to the publishing plan and access to its settings. Tell us where the domain is registered and whether it also supports business email. We’ll confirm the setup required before making changes; domain registration is separate from the website design.
How does hosting work?
Framer provides hosting for sites published through its platform. The appropriate plan, billing responsibility and domain arrangements need to be agreed for your site. Do not assume hosting, subscriptions or domain renewals are included in the design fee unless your proposal explicitly says so.
What happens when I need to update the site?
We agree how future changes will be handled as part of the project arrangements. Discuss who will own the Framer project, who needs access and whether you want to manage content yourself or enquire about further help. Ongoing maintenance and unlimited revisions are not automatic inclusions.
Can you add booking, payments or other integrations?
Mention any specialist requirements when you enquire. The exact tools, feasibility and scope must be checked before we commit to them. A previous project or a feature available in Framer does not mean every integration is offered or included.
Useful thinking before a redesign
What does your website need to do better?
Share your current website, or tell us if you’re starting fresh. Let us know what your business offers, which pages you think you need and any essential functions. We can start with a practical conversation about the right scope.
